Markdown block (doesn't work correctly)

Hmmmm

Ok, I think I've discovered how to do footnotes[^footnote1], but I need to make sure.

[^footnote1]: If you are reading this, then I have successfully created a footnote.

And I want to know what happens if there are multiple footnotes[^footnote2]

[^footnote2]: Like, does it actually add the number to the footnote instead of the ellipses?

And lastly, can I create a footnote in one line?[^ you know, just add the text right here?]
