I had a fun weekend in San Diego after surprising my brother and parents with a visit. I drove my old Nissan Sentra down so my bro could have a vehicle to and from work... and I got an astonishing 35+ miles per gallon on the trip!
My older brother is a successful siding contractor and has been working on a cabin on Palomar Mt. We were able to stay the weekend and enjoy the distance from the city as well as the small town restaurant and fascinating observatory.
Although I didn't get much time with them, it was another chance to see my aging grandma and almost 3 month old nephew!
